Stay-Linked API's to control wireless terminals from end-user applications

The Stay-Linked API is a structured, documented facility that provides application developers with the ability to programmatically control Stay-Linked devices from within end-user applications. Session attributes like device type, IP address, MAC address, device name, client software version, as well as display rows and columns can be retrieved by the end-user application running through this API. Additional programmatic functions include transferring files to and from devices, rebooting, restarting, disconnecting and terminating sessions, as well as the ability to send special, highly visible messages to devices. The end-user application can also run remote commands and programs residing on the device through this same API.
